Windsor ... a week after The Wedding

We went to Windsor on Friday, the town and the castle. Because I need to be packing, I'll just post some photos without much description.

This first one, though, needs a bit of explanation. Those who watched the wedding, remember the "Long Walk," lined with people as the carriage made its way to Windsor Castle for the reception? That's me (below) on the Long Walk -- without a carriage and without the crowds!

No photos were allowed to be taken inside Windsor Castle, and that includes the church where The Wedding took place. I can't share a photo of me walking down the aisle, but how about posing by the steps of the church?

The church was beautiful and fascinating, including seeing the tombs of Henry VIII and the Queen Mum.

Below are photos from the grounds of Windsor Castle, which really is a small town within castle walls.

Like my crown?

BTW, I bought one souvenir for myself and one for the grandkids. Can you figure out which is which?

Thanks for reading my blog!
